This dramatic program focuses on the lives of the stars, how they are born, how they die, and how human understanding of the stars has changed ov er time. From Native Americans to Newton, from the electromagnetic spectrum to Einstein, audiences explore nebulae, star clusters, pulsars, black holes, and more. Through every phase of their existenc e, stars release the energy that lights the Universe. Journey to the furthest reaches of our galaxy and experience both the awesome beauty and destructive power of stars. STARS was produced by the Ad venture Science Center with the National Space Centre in Leicester, UK (now NSC Creative). The program features the voice talent of Mark Hamill and music composed by Pip Greasley. The Nashville Sympho ny Orchestra, conducted by Albert-George Schram, resident conductor, performed part of the STARS soundtrack.
