The newly built Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium of SUNY Buffalo State College installed their new SkyLase FX projector and two mid-air beam projectors in September 2020.  They are now presenting very cool and dazzling Laser Music Experiences under their awesome new dome.

Kevin Williams, the planetarium director, has big plans for the new state-of-the-art software and projection systems installed in the planetarium.  They present a number of opportunities for other disciplines, including such diverse areas as dance, theater, art, music, technology, communication, history, education, all the sciences, and more. “There are countless possibilities to provide 360-degree visually-immersive experiences for students”, Kevin said. We can’t wait to see what they come with!
